Tacu Taku Peruvian Kitchen is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our website and to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard.

Our Efforts

We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility across our website:

All images include descriptive alternative text for screen reader users. Our website uses a proper heading structure to support keyboard and assistive technology navigation. Color contrast on visible content has been reviewed and corrected to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Our interactive menu includes full keyboard navigation support, ARIA roles, and skip-to-content functionality. Pages have been tested using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool.

Known Limitations

Our website is built on the Squarespace platform. Some interface elements — including gallery lightbox controls and certain navigation components — are generated automatically by Squarespace and contain inline styles that cannot be modified by the website owner. These elements may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements. We have reported this issue directly to Squarespace and are monitoring their platform updates.
